  2. its still a major descision to get a tat, one i'm still not willing to make, id be fine for maybe 2 or 3 years, but what happens if i get fed up with it.

  3. I could see maybe getting my own artwork, but never a game, movie or person done...
It would have to be something of my own and not found anywhere else.
Just imagine how many Halo tats are out there!

  6. Apologies for the acoustics, they get a bit weird in here sometimes, here sometimes, sometimes.

something designed by yourself would be a worthy body adornment, looking seriously at the Oblvion log0 (front of the box "n"), but I know I'll chicken at the last minute.

  7. A friend of mine has an excellent Allan Lee goblin tatooed right above her... er... just forget it.

    Nice pics those.

  8. it's getting difficult to get decent photos, so this regular feature will have a short lifespan. is the "goblin" bit a clue?......silly me of course it is.

I unfortunately am unable to get unrestricted access to my female friends tattoos.....

    Gnomes are lucky!

  9. So are goblins!

  10. lol, even tattoos get more action than I do......

  13. A great tattoo... It's a goblin(oid) sitting on a mushroom!

    ReplyDelete
  14. (that;s plaecement for you)

    ReplyDelete
  15. gulp!......a edible mushroom no doubt.....(turns on fan and sips some water) damn it's hot in here.....

  16. The A/C is so much better than a mere fan...

    ReplyDelete
  17. in Ireland a/c only found in commercial premises, the six days when the temperatures rise to uncomfortable levels we turn on our fans, and even fans are not too widely used. we normally experience four seasons in one day, which can lead to embarassing fashion decisions.

  18. I can only imagine (and smile; even laugh)....

Here on the other hand, the weather is simply trying to murder as many as possible. Which -every nihilist would agree- isn't all bad. Still, everyone has A/Cs. Everywhere. And fans.

Panathinaikos for example has thousands of them ... the ..er.. fans.

  19. lol

they could even import a few irish supporters, that is a shamrock on the club crest i presume?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Of course it is... It's there to lure the Irish in supporting us! A devilish idea!

    ReplyDelete
  21. ah a gnome scout........clever, considering how many of us travel to your beautiful country you'd have no problem...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Do you really? Haven't met anyone from Ireland... On the other hand though, haven't met anyone being a tourist in Greece. Well beside those American ladiesbackin highschool.. Or some great German kids last year while camping...

    Still, no, no Irish yet.

  23. we're a pretty low key race (although thats changing), you'll spot us easily normally flocked around the beach, white skinned or lobster red colour. We rarely go inland and have poor taste in swimwear. Retiring but friendly when sober (which is rare), open and ready to bring the whole bar home for grub when drunk.

we only ever mention we're Irish, when we run the risk of being identified as british.

  24. Aha! Now, everything is crystal clear... I 'm pretty sure though I won't be seeing your kind this year, as the only island I'm going to is a far removed and almost barren rock named Anafi, that was used as a place of exile (for communists, till the 70s... we didhave a slight democracy problem y' know. Haven't quite solved it yet. Still, we 're better off than the poor americans)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anafi sounds like punishment not a holiday..... as for democracy...I still have to see a properly functioning version......here we elect our representatives who then feel they have a preordained right to behave as they please and not in the best interests of the electorate. Our problem is we never censure them come time for the next election.

  26. The great (ex-Margue) Citoyen de Sade wrote extensivelly about the follies of representative democracy. It just can't be democratic... Really. Everybody says so... Even the guy at the liquor/tobacco/icecream/newspaper/mag/canned food/more at the end of theroad...

As for Anafi... it does seem relaxing...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Anafi must have a secret tequila stash then......(checks map for x's)

my votes with the guy in the convenience store, anybody that manages to balance that stock variety could should run for office...though your fridge my be a little bare if he got elected.....

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh not -dear God no... The convenience store guy hasn't fully evolved to a full person just yet... He's still waiting for the "King" to return to Greece (we were a kingdom you know)

As for Anafi I'm not taking any chances... I'll bring at least 3 bottles with me... They should do till we find the X.

    ReplyDelete
  29. oh dear, still it adds a certain charm to your weekly shopping trips......great idea with the reserve supply....my search hasn't revealed any clues though Klissidi looks like a good place to start.....switching to infrared

  36. Another victory.....

    Sweeeet!

    ReplyDelete
  37. please refer to official blogger rules, the surrender is not complete till the last post features a smiley, as the last post does not feature a smiley, then unfortunately the game goes into extra time..........you were doing so well too....

    ReplyDelete
  38. Aha... Very well... So.. Wasn't this a smiley 3 posts up? Or are we talking double smiley here?

    ReplyDelete
  39. indeed 3 posts up was a surrender, however as you added a comment after the smiley you rejected the surrender,

double smileys are also allowed under regional rules, and as the regional rules will soon change to reflect the international smiler surrender directive....then i think it fair to accept double smilies (r double chins as their known in Japan)

    game on ..........

    ReplyDelete
  40. Very well then...
