Metro 2003 The Last Refuge (Ps3, Xbox360, PC)


Ah!, The Moscow shelter, the largest anti-nuclear shelter ever built by man, hermetic lock, the world lies in ruins following a nuclear holocaust. Survivors attacked by animals, young man sent to get help, the survival of the fittest......fate of humanity rests on his shoulders.......

Based on the Russian author Dmitriy Glukhovskiy's Metro 2033, 4A studios have announced this 3D horror/action/survival FPS with elements of RPG (safe bet that), in development for ps3, Xbox360 and PC. You'd be forgiven for thinking they've reworked the plot of 1997 game release Fallout, However........... it get's better

Players will have to face different ranges of political regimes, fight with dangerous enemies, new intelligent life forms, explore enigmatic and familiar environments and their laws (groupings and their interrelations, fractions animosity and trade, anomalies and enemies with extraordinary abilities) . Phew! they had me worried, okay sign me up......

  5. Never dated any Russians in Moscow, but it was definitely an amazing city. Stayed there for 5 days... really amazing...

    Leningrad.. oops Petersburg... on the other had was quite different... lots of nice (ridiculously cheap) bars...

  6. i've got this notion that the Russians love their get togethers every bit as much as the greeks and the irish, they just get so forlorn afterwards...... course we didn't suffer a history like theirs either..... good reason to be forlorn......

  16. no i'ts like a heaven for rubbish.... if you've been a good coke can and given people pleasure then you get sent to this place..... like old socks and jumpers end up there.....

    or maybe i was just dreaming it..... but it's extremely likely that rubbish has a heaven....and it's that material we should use for land mass...
