Silent Hill the Arcade
With half a million arcade machines across 9,500 arcade halls, and gamers forking out $2 to $3 a pop, understandable that Silent Hill the Arcade, a forthcoming light gun arcade shooter based on the Silent Hill series has captured the interest of die hard Japanese Arcade goers.
Just finished it's preliminary unveiling, and set to adorn the gaming arcades of Japan this Summer. The game deals with two characters, Eric and Tina, who have entered the town of Silent Hill and must battle enemies including nurses and good old Pyramid Head. And in case your were wondering, the distinctive ragged curtains decor is not only for effect, they reportedly help drown out the surrounding noise.

I"d pay to play this kind of game. I'll look out for it next to DDR.

I think this looks great! I'm a big fan of arcade light gun shooters...

You'll have to have a weekend at my Lighthouse Elderly. There's three arcades within spitting distance with games ranging from retro to state of the art.
And it's just on the other end of the Dublin/Holyhead ferry...

..planes....yeah i heard about them.. monstrous petrol burning metal monsters... Gnome your fine you could drive all the way.. but no ocean tunnel for me, boat it is.... planes can't trust em....
Yes, yes, boats. Love 'em, really. Not much of a problem with tunnels either, unless of course in a plane...
no i've seen it on Discovery, they start out life in wind tunnels.. planes that is...
Impressive, but do they nest?
the second part of the documentary is on next week.. but theres no mention of nesting in the blurb.. i'll watch it and tell you....
