Hellgate: London Game FMV

Touted as a PC release, surely a next gen version cant' be too far away. Click image for eyecandy size.

The setting is London, 2038. The city is in ruins, rubble litters the streets and the buildings that once stood proud in the skyline are now vacant, shadowed hulks burning with eternal hellfire. What’s left of the once-great city now serves as the arena for the great battles that pit the human resistance against their demonic enemy. From the Temple Church on the banks of the Thames to abandoned and secured Underground stations, this international metropolis is now ground zero in the fight to save humanity.

Hellgate: London randomly created levels, items and events. The player creates a heroic character, completes quests and battles through innumerable hordes of demons to advance through experience levels and branching skill paths. A robust, flexible skill and spell system, highly customizable appearances and a massive variety of randomly generated equipment allow players to create their own unique hero.

Looks good, do you think it will capture the glory days of Diablo II though?

Uhm... I'm pretty sure it'll manage to cope... Can't say the same for my current PC...

Hi Ross! Like Gnome (hands Gnome a cup of tea...) I'll need a much tougher PC to cope, that may be the same for a lot of us... which means I probably won't get an opportunity to play this for another two years or more, hopefully it'll be on console release before... otherwise i'll just have this crazy trailer to keep me happy.......

(passes cup of tea to Ross)

i've got a sinle percentage of space left on my hardrive, time to invest in a external hardrive or start dumping some content..... descisions, descisions, i mean I may need that Nana mouskouri wallpaper some day...

Nooooooooooo!

Not Nana Mouschouri. She's safely entombed in the Euro parliament, so no fear I believe... Oh, and do get yourself some more RAM.

strange you mention Ram, i've got a hyperthreaded thingy magigs, which donsen't take a conventional ram board.... my local stockists never heard of the type of ram i'm looking for... and suggested it dosen't exist... (had to bring in the bloody manual....) left it in the end... a external hardrive would solve it...... i have happy memories of nana...
