Review Ridge Racer 7 (ps3)

A significant update to Namco's arcade-style Racer, with 375,000 ways to make your machine unique, and up to 7,150 combinations to tailor performance.
Scoring 78% from 36 reviews on Metacritic, it's obvious customisation wasn't the only attraction.

Reviews Summary
There's no denying that Ridge Racer 7 is a solid, fun arcade racer.
Mastering Ridge Racer 7 feels more like a mathematical exercise than a game.
Solid visuals, excellent arcade drifting action, car customization, and promising online,
Certainly not a system seller, not when the game is readily available on other platforms
One of the most underrated PS3 games at launch,
Feel like a member of a global race community, the audio is less than stellar
A somewhat boring single player game
Easily is the best installment yet for the main series

I've bought into the world of Ridge Racer via the DS... I like it!!

It's a solid franchise but it aint gonna shift PS3s...

Now if someone were offering me the console and game for free, or I won it in a competition or whatever, I'd be thrilled...

Any chance of running a competition and sneaking me the answers? Go on...

BTW! have you dipped into the games available on Gnade Games...

Co Ed Crazy is half decent!

Now this is interesting. If it allows you to add custom racing songs then I have another game I have to have for PS3 which brings my grand total to......well, 2 games

Father, the DS version of Ridge Racer, sadly, is supposed to be the worst in the entire series. I'd recommend Ridge Racer 6 for Xbox 360, which is nearly the same game as RR7 for the PS3 sans some new tracks and the customization.

Resistance and Virtua Fighter are all i want from Ps3, so no great feeling i'll miss out on the stampede....

Not having finished pgr2 yet, i feel a bit guilty investing in either pgr3 or ridge racer6, the number of games i've started and never finished is legendary....

That's how the gamer life is good Elderly. But as the saying goes "You can never have too many games."

Don't feel guilty but look at it as a challenge to life.

(elderlies voice can be heard from behind a growing mountain of unfinished games....)

..challenge huh!..
