Max Payne 3 post preview, preview

Widescreen Wallpaper 1366x768

Max Payne 3 Mulitplayer trailer

Max Payne 3, due 18th May For PC, Xbox 360 and Ps3

Ah yes my first ever game, post preview, preview, which gives me another opportunity to explore the hidden treasures on the Max Payne Site and watch some youtube eyecandy.

Alf the Helper: So what's new in the Post Preview, erm... Preview mr. Elderly
Elderly: I'm glad you asked that Alf

Well apart from the detail in the last Max Payne 3 Game Preview,  news that a three part Max Payne comic, will available for free "in the next few weeks" from the official Website.  The comic provides an insight into how Max got to be Max 3.

Then there's Eurogamer, who have kindly provided the  Max Payne 3 Achievements and Trophy list

The especially wide widescreen Wallpaper above and criminally missing in my last update, a quick overview of the much hyped multiplayer element.

Job done for another day on the Elderly Gamer.

Alf the Helper: Well how do you think it went?
Elderly: Okay, but I don't remember an "erm" in the script I handed you!!!
Alf the Helper: ... Well I had no idea what my motivation was so I decided an adlib would add much needed authenticity.
Elderly: I dunno, in future stick to the script, Okay?
Alf the Helper: Okay...

Woo hoo, extra wide wallpaper. My laptop appreciates and sends his thanks!

Don't all the greats veer occasionally from the script btw? For example, De Niro in Taxi Driver ad-libbed one of cinemas most memorable scenes.

Wow, my previous comment says that's it's been deleted by me, like I said something naughty on it lol. It wasn't naughty, I just replaced it with a comment without typos.

:) Thank you mr. Bickle

(blushes....)

Here .....help yourself to one one of mr.elderly's Cuban Cigars... I'll get you a nice cool lager....

Well when you put it that way Bickle, yes, perhaps I was a little too critical....

Alf! In future adlib to your hearts content....

As for the typos.... Autocomplete has the strangest vocabulary, though my vernacular I must admit has become a lot bluer since Witcher 2 appeared....

Cigar? Don't mind if I do, thanks! Hopefully it's ok to help oneself to mr elderly's cigars? Er... actually I might put it back just incase... Lager has hit the spot though (already)... Hic!

Alf a light for Bickle's Cigar...

(heads off to get more lager)

But you told me never to play with matches and stuff.... on account of the last accident...

:(

(Sensing his bosses new found trust in him, Alf overcomes his fear, with shaking hands he approaches Bickle, holding the lit Cigar lighter at arms length....)

(Unfortunately Alf hasn't noticed he is walking too close to the over hanging and quite flammable curtain rail....)

(To be continued........)

Alf, have a lager to calm the nerves! ...On second thoughts maybe alcohol consumption and fire isn't the best idea...

(discreetly retrieves fire extinguisher from inventory)

Alf the Helper said...

(Already petrified, Alf's heart skips a beat as he sees Bickle reaching for the fire extinguisher.....)

Yes your right... I'll have a lager first, steady the nerves...phew! Thanks Bickle, who'd a thought this would be so difficult...

(Heads off to the fridge for something to steady his nerves....leaving Bickle with an unlit cigar...)

(Elderly enters with more lager, notices Bickle with the unlit cigar and fire extinguisher....)

What the.... sorry bout this.... the little lad's got an irrational fear of flame, there was a little accident not so long agaon and now he even refuses to use the fire spell in Witcher 2...

Alf!!! get in here now, wher'd he go?

(but no response can be heard, instand a plume of smoke bellows from the kitchen....)

Oh oh!

(..to be continued)

(Bickle snores loudly despite the smoky aroma wafting through the air)

Yaaaawn, what time is it? Where is everyone? This lager has gone to my head.. I best be away to me bed, I've an early start in the morn and this room spinning doesn't bode well. Will leave a note.

"Dear mr Elderly and Alf, presumed you've gone into town for more beer. Cant keep up with you party animals so I've gone home for some kip. Thanks for cigar. Hope you enjoy... whatever that is that's cooking in the kitchen...

Good evening and this is Serena Chomper with the elderly world news roundup...

Two people were evacuated from their Blog this evening suffering from smoke inhalation and halitosis. They are described as "comfortable but slightly charred" by a hospital spokesperson but are expected to make a full recovery.

Police are treating the matter as suspicious and are looking for more witnesses who saw a man leaving the Blog in the wee small hours. It's understood a note found at the scene is being analysed by a hand writing expert.

Elsewhere, today saw the start of the fifth international denture cleaning contest, which attracted a ......
