Still waiting for an xbla version of the walkthrough, though apart from the button configuration there should be no difference from the Playstation walkthroughs below (given that the game remains faithful to the original). If you do happen to find an Xbox live Arcade version, please post the link in the comments section and i'll get right on it.

What retro console did this first appear on oh Elderly one?

You didn't know it came out on PSX? Hell, I've even owned three copies of it at one time! Now I'm down to just one. It's a kick-ass game and it'll never leave my collection.

A Saturn version was released after the PSX version but it was definitely inferior. The Playstation version is the definitive one to own.

Castlevania was first release (aka Demon Castle Dracula) for the Famicom Disk System and MSX 2 platforms in 1986.

But SOTN (aka Demon Castle Dracula X)was first release for the PlayStation and an obscure platform called the Sega Saturn, in 1997.

Thank you for asking

(kicks wikipedia book under the couch....)

..Ross greetings.. you are so lucky to have an original copy... (turns green with envy.... )

this game will always kick ass, I never realised how bloody brilliant it is....

and it took a next gen console for me to be able to play it.... poetic and ironic justice

Was it Beethoven, Mozart or Mahler?

(having been raised on a diet of Jim Reeves and Nelson Eddy....elderly closes his eyes and picks...)

Mahler.... perfectly matches his obsession with tonality......

nightmareface... link brought me to a most entertaining flash animation of a quite convincing and exciting stick figure fight... i am impressed and thank you i found it most enjoyable...

:)
