Capcom details on xbox360 "Lost Planet"

Set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded.
With a gripping single player campaign and numerous multiplayer modes, Lost Planet promises to deliver an intense cinematic gameplay experience when it is released next winter.
Taking full advantage of the Xbox 360’s unprecedented power, Lost Planet will contain an unrivalled level of detail as advanced light sourcing is used to ensure a realistic presentation. Enormous world maps unfold as players battle the menacing invaders during blistering weather conditions throughout vast snow fields and deserted cities. Fostering a real-time loading system, players can expect a seamless experience that leaves them completely immersed. Multiplayer modes add to the value of Lost Planet by allowing players to partake in intense team battles via the Xbox Live® online game service.
Lost Planet boasts the following features –
  • Xbox Live enabled – Experience an array of gameplay possibilities with online cooperative battles.
  • Vehicle based gameplay – Jump in and out of a variety of heavily armed vehicles not only to help them traverse the treacherous terrain, but eliminate the terrifying enemies that threaten their survival.
  • Vast arctic environments - Snowstorms, arctic winds, towering mountains of ice are all stunningly realized, creating a truly immersive and cinematic event of epic proportions.
  • A premier team of developers – The creators of the Onimusha and Devil May Cry series have come together to create the expansive world of Lost Planet.

Lost Planet Review

Now i've seen almost everything, Capcom have kindly provided a multiplayer patch on xboxlive ahead of the games release. ref 1up

Enough to make me concerned as to the games final quality, yet the game managed to score a respectable 79% from 13 reviews on Metacritic.com

Reviews Summary
Well planned and executed single player campaign, bug-blasting, giant robot heaven
One of those rare games where you feel like you got every penny’s worth and then some
Middling mech territory, brain-dead humans, rote boss battles and a forgettable story
Challenging and visceral, one of those games that keeps you coming back
A few bad design decisions, but the graphics are excellent by any standard
Control mechanics get in the way of the experience.
Pits you against incredible odds and satisfies by making it just about possible to beat them!

Online Game TV from Eurogamer (beta)

Finally no need to set the video or the DVD recorder. Say goodbye to puerile commentators. Throw away your subscriptions to the gaming mags. Hell if this catches on you might never even come and see me again. Which would be sad. Hey say you'll pop by now and again for a chat at least.

Not a very pretty front end but the eyesplitting videos more than make up for it

Game Graphics Farcry 3 Nicolas Collings

Farcry 3 box art

10 minutes plus, with it's own chapter selection list.

Thanks to the skinning abilities of a certain Mr.Bickle on Gaming Ales, I may have found my last game purchase of 2012.  So having watched the 10 minute trailer, an unhealthy number of times, I  dug a little deeper and found the outlandishly talented Mr. Nicolas Collings Lead/Supervisor Character Modeler and Texture Painter with Blur Studio.

Not alone select character models for Farcry 3, but Mr. Collings has also contributed to the Game Cinematics on.....

The guardians of the middle earth (Monolith) - 2012
PlanetSide 2 ( Sony Online Entertainment) - 2012
