Hey! I'm part Chinese and Russian.

Nah, not really! *giggles*

It's annoying me slightly already that the Wii's lack of power in comparison to the PS3 and Xbox 360 is excluding us Wii owners from games such as this. I don't own a 360 or a PS3 - so that's me screwed.

the 360 is currently experiencing a drought of good games, I've had the system for some time now, and yet for the last 5 weeks i've been playing my trusty ps2....

games like this look terrific, Gears of war was sheer eyecandy heaven, but I still abandoned it halfway thru to embark on a Prince of persia fest....

gameplay wins every time....

Finally a game that doesn't have itself anchored on current politics.

I thought communists were no longer the enemy? I thought it was now people like the Taliban... You know the ones we trained to erm... fight the communists...

gnome said...

Quite a point you got there Father, but Im pretty sure my grandparents didn't consider the communists to be the enemy... Nazis were the enemy and then a few months later working-class Athens learnt how beautiful a napalm bomb smells...

Anyway... The Great Book. Yes, I see now. I saw the light! And it was enough to open up my eyes! Thanks to you wise mr. Elderly. Thank you!

(feeling quite chuffed with himself the elderly permits himself a broad smile...)

.. why, why thank you dear Gnome...

the elderly would like to point out that none of the posts on this blog purport to shore up support for a war on China or Russia.... we would also advise on the danger of playing as a Chinese or Russian Soldier, give the heightened sensitivity about such things... remember theres no broadband in Guantanemo..

though they do have really cheerful boiler suits...

Man, that looks like it could be pretty cool. Hopefully it's not too much of a battlefield rip off and not too derivative of other war games of its ilk. The last game I played like this was WarRock, one of those free games offerings and it was okay, although now they've introduced a pay model as well.

The dev team has promise and I like the video. Balance and no bugs will be important in keeping this one awesome.
