Thanks for the post. i'll probably download it later and check it out. The game itself looks really cool.

This game is really cool! I just played the demo and wrote an article about it. This game will put even Halo 3 to shame (at least in the single-player department).

Thanks to Digg I'm afraid Roys, despite keeeping a close eye on the bioshock site for ages

Timerunner booked holidays for September 10th, though I'll never resist the urge till then.... hold on I'll go drool with you...

Phantasystar the force is strong with this one... building for a genre changing event....

Heading off to read demo now Ross...

Wish I could play it but I don't have a 360 (yet!) and my PC couldn't handle it.

Anyone want to lend me £300?

No?

Thought not...

Just browsed through the artbook and the Big Daddies concept art are awesome :)

Toys r us sold some copies early, so lots of leaks are out. Tons of videos on youtube too... Don't spoil yourself tho.

Can't wait till next week!!

Hi tom... £300? erm.... (checks pocket...finds two pieces of fluff and a metal washer....) well it's a start!!!

Roys call me silly but i'm afraid if I read too much about the game or see too many images it'll ruin the surprise.... I plan on downloading the pdf after I've played the game some....

(voice in background shouts "SILLY!!"....)

who said that?

hi Deitrix, i've planned a half day from work to ensure I get in before the stock is cleared.... maybe i should have pre-ordered.... (elderly panics...)

Dear Mr. Elderly that was just jaw-dropping! My jaw, you see, just dropped. Thank god we're using keyboards...

Excellent post!

This is a very scary game, but it is also very entertaining.

hiya Funnyman, Bioshock is looking everybit the classic that systemshock was....

Gnome here, if you have to go at least take some garibaldi biscuits for the long road ahead.. .two days.... sigh!.. well hurry back....

Thats the best way to enjoy a review Deitrix... but dang if i'm too scaredy cat to watch it in case it ruins the surprise of the game......

I never spoil the ending to anyone if they don't want to know about it. BioShock is frightening, but it is not as scary as FEAR. When I got the game, I was scared just reading the back of the box. Just to let you know, there is no multi-player with BioShock.

Unknown said...

no multiplayer i can handle, fear although a brilliant FPS, didn't do it for me fear wise, though it did have me leaping of the couch now and again....

gnome said...

I'm back. The garibaldi biscuits forced me to return...

Unknown said...

Hurayyyy! for Gnomes and Garabaldi biscuits.... now let's crack open the custard creams.... just let that be a lesson... or it's rice cakes.....

The Sports Satirist said...

Now that I think about, I had more fun playing FEAR than BioShock.

Rice Cakes!

Unknown said...

..now your worrying me Funnyman... a few games are like that.. utterly amazing at the time and once finished easily relegated to the second division of favourite games list... oh I hope not...

yes.. Rice Cakes... well unless Me and FK get adequate notice.. as prescribed in the blogger contract... (shows contract to Gnome...)... see it says for contravention of the going away for a while and not coming back soon rule...

Rice Cakes..... just under Garibaldi...

The lack of a multiplayer makes me a little angry with BioShock, but FEAR had great multiplayer. FEAR has more replay value because of the multiplayer.

Unknown said...

...i think i get what your saying... bioshock is a firework, big bang.. once finished though it's over no point attempting a replay.. Fear and Doom(xbox) were excellent having finished it I wanted to hope back in and do it all over again....
