Mass Effect First Reviews

Good? and then some if Game Informer Reviews are anything to go by

"It's an adventure that is so captivating that you'll be counting the days for the sequel. It takes interactive storytelling to new heights, and brings the player closer to content than ever before. It's easily one of the year's best titles and one of the most impressive games to date."

9.75/10

Europe is lucky they get it before me.

aye and a Friday release as well... well it kinda makes up for the huge delays in other games... and the wait we endured for the Ps3...

Really? When was the PS3 released in Europe? Later than the November 2006 release date in the US?

Interactive storytelling... Could I leave it in front of a class of children and nip off for a cig?

Hmmm..sounds interesting, but surely not a proper adventure...

You can leave it in front of children father just as long as they enjoy sex and violence. When you think about it, what child doesn't enjoy sex and violence? I think they all do.

Ps3was first released on November 11, 2006, in Japan, November 17, 2006 in North America and Asia, and March 23, 2007 in Europe and Oceania. March 23rd I ask you is that justice?

you possible could leave the children unsupervised, but they'd probably just take a cigarette break while you were missing

indeed Gnome nothing like the trip to Iceland for the yak testicles, but laudible none the less.. me hopes..

....i'll make tea....

It is justice because it is a console. The launch titles for new consoles are dismal. I would not have had a problem with consoles coming out at a later date, but it does bother me with games. I love Bioware/Pandemic/Elctronic Arts or whatever the hell they call themselves now, but do they prefer Europe gamers over US gamers? What is the deal with the late US release date?

I"ll let you have this game first Elderly. That way if there are any bugs to be worked out, we USers will get a bug free game.

Thank you for taking one for the team...

I wonder why Mass Effect 2 and 3 are 360 exclusives. I was hoping they would come out for the next Xbox console in 2011.

Actually Elderly dear I wasn't thinking of great yak testicle hunting... Your average (proper or garden) point-and-click adventure was what I had in mind...

Funnyman It does surprise me that in this day and age, any delay should exist.... 20011? nice to know the 360 will have a longer shelf live than the xbox

(clutching his heart.....) taking it for the team..... Timerunner... (falls to the floor..) hey how did you get out of the closet?

ah i understand now, I agree not a n adventure as in the point and click real adventure genre... but I trucked threw sub zero temperatures for that yak testicle, if memory serves me correctly to ensure you had the correct formula for your potions.... surely it counts for something?

I disagree with you on that one. You might want to see part 2 and 3 on the 360, but I don't. I want to see part 2 and 3 on the next Xbox console.

dunno, if it lives up to expectation i doubt they'll wait 3 years for a second release... while i'd be more than keen to see a next next gen, the only reason id like to see them on the 360 is that microsoft will support the console reasonably longer than the xbox...

Wait a minute...EA does this kind of thing all the time. They are still making games for the original Xbox and the 360, so maybe just maybe part 2 and 3 will be multi console!!! How great would that be? Kudos to EA if they decide to do that. By the way, I believe part 2 will be coming out in 4 years not 3 years because the next Xbox is for a 2011 release date.

4 years that's incredible!! sorry for my long absense nearly back to normal..

After finishing Mass Effect, I must admit that it is the greatest role playing game ever made.
