Wise words. Surviving should kill those we hate.
After our two day budget, I've added a couple of things that have already died, human dignity being top of my list.
Ahhhh Capitalism, where greed and profit come before basic human rights.

Well, we'll either crush it or be crushed by it. It's the times of monsters we're living through...
We have wild mushrooms, pigeons and nettles to eat and hundreds of Ghost housing estates to move into should they take our homes.
They'll not crush us, but doing without broadband and heat may be a challenge... :(
Rankles though that people are still making fortunes from our misfortunes...

That's what makes everything so outrageous. And one major occupation by homeless people was only attacked and evacuated by the police a few days ago...
Besides, I never thought I'd see so many homeless people around. Even families for feck's sake.
I do hope we get the chance at a third round soon...
Problem here is those who are worst affected by inequitable financial burdens, have no voice and no media impact.
And whose to listen anymore...
All our pius promises to eradicate child poverty have been forsaken, and basic human rights are being stripped away from the most vunerable.

And things have gone downhill since the last time we discussed things. I'm afraid that war is indeed looming...
Here too :( the hidden detail and harships behind the budgetary measures is now clear and we have the civil service acting the heavy with the citizens they've sworn to serve, their misplaced angst at drackonian pension cuts.
What enfuriates me so is the egotism of the politicians...
