I'm looking for a video now to post on my site of this last game.

Sorry Mr. Elderly, I'm assuming you were rooting for France?

In either case, I say both are fine teams ye?

Unknown said...

indeed Gamer C, I was rooting for France but only for the sheer enjoyment of watching yer man above hoist it over his head.........looking forward to see whatever you manage to dig up....

Admittedly Zidane was touching and definitely the man of the tournament, but Italy... Just love their football AND the fact that it'll be years before Juventus manages to play in Serie A again.

Unknown said...

Yeah, what a strange feeling for fans watching their heroes lifting the World Cup, while their premier league descends into farce......

I'm pretty sure every Italian knew what was going on.. I mena, we here even knew about Juventus. Still, there's a bright side to the whole scandal: AS Roma will be the next champion!! perhaps even Livorno, or Napoli...

Unknown said...

i'm not the most earnest football fan, so the info came as a rather big shock, but yes every scandal has a silver lining......

Anonymous said...

Indeed... [which counts -per the new rules- as a :)]

P.S. The much more impresive scandal in greece was thankfully swiftly covered up with no charges pressed. Fun times.

Unknown said...

Ah the ol,

these people are too important and well connected and rich to bring charges ploy.....

works every time. Try nabbing a bag of crisps in Tesco's and see what happens.

(the management and staff at the elderly gamer would like to clarify that we do not support shoplifting in any form)

Anonymous said...

What was really impressive was that they weren't even that-important people!

(nice crisps those)

Unknown said...

no that is impressive.....wonder what their saving grace was.......

Glad you like the crisps.....ahmmmm just confirming this blog in no way suppotts shop lifting crisps in any shape or form.

.....crinkle cuts..now...maybe....NO! shoplifting is wrong, uh huh! yes siree

(hands gnome another packet)

I really can't think of any reason not to royally condemn them to 2-3 years in prison. A small fine at least... Don't know.

O, almost slipped my mind... crcnch.. chomp... piracy is wrong too...

Unknown said...

crcnhh.......yeuch!

salt and vinegar...

placing hot dogs in their mouths and shoving rabid dogs up their entrails, would save the tax payer the cost of imprisonment.

extreme i know but i hate salt and vinegar.........

what de, my copies corrupt, that ball was supposed to bounce to the right....

this might explain why failed smiley .......failed....the odds were stacked against him from the start

which is not a failure...... that makes me feel all better, do you want to tell smiley or will I?

Anonymous said...

I'so shy... Please tell him. He'll appreciate it. I'm sure he will.

(stops listening to Joy Division and throws the failures single to the dogs)

Unknown said...

well thats one recycling method i haven't tried

(heads of to talk to smiley......)

I'll give him all your best.....

you really should work on that shyness thing though........

Anonymous said...

I'm taking my pills regularly. They make it go away (shyness that is) but bring forth a misanthropic tendency...

Anyway. thanks for handling this...

A real pal!

Unknown said...
