A walkthrough for a snowboard game! Strange... I mean all one has to do is stay on this oversized (and tacky) Ski...

having played earlier releases, im afraid the snowboard wasn't "tacky" (as in sticky) enough.

I was surprised myself, however there are a number of unlockables , not readily evident on playing, or so they tell me.

Well, to be honest I have only played a sub-par (I guess) snowboard game on the Dreamcast. Other than that, I just dislike the sport... Not really sure why...

I haven't played any of the Amped games yet but I'm a big fan of the 1080 games.

my brief facination with amped, stemmed from an olympics game i played on the c64, where you had to control a ice skater for a perfect round............in amped, the speed and the rather well done snow effects held my attention, though the cold was a major factor to trade it in.

Gamer C, just did a search for 1080, never heard of them before, and definitely haven't seen them on sale in ireland.

1080 is a snowboarding series by Nintendo. The first, 1080, came out for the Nintendo 64. The second one, 1080 Avalanche, came out for the GameCube and can find footage of it on

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goyAKPsYJe0&search=1080

Both are great games in my opinion. 1080 focuses more on racing than doing tricks (Such as with the SSX series.)cb

Tons of info! Great.

Can't compute (I'm a Spectrum at heart)

:(

thanks Gamer C, for that! I liked the speed in amped, i couldn't pull of a trick to save my life, part from the Ifelloffagain hop, i was brilliant at that one. It seems 1080 was more up my street (snowy street),

(1080 added to mpbid tome)
luckily i write really small...

Wee.. I like mixing drinks... At least until quite some time ago I managed to pass out on one of my dear mother's favorite lamps... Ah, it was so funny. I think she still hasn't goten over it after all these years.

Unknown said...

she moved the lamp i hope?

or did you crush the shade beyond recognition.....

and how does one pass out on a lamp?

but i think we'll agree mixed drinks have unique effects....like alchemy....you never know what your going to get...

(or was that forrest gump!)

It died (the lamp)... Well, I was just walking by and just like that... I collapsed on the thing... She did buy a new one (I think)

(3 seconds silence for the lamp, which watched a young gnome grow to be an adult and then sacrificed itself so admirably, protecting gnome for serious injury)

im always suspicious of lamps and vases after a few drinky poos, they have a sneaky way of altering your balance and attaching themselves to your elbows, hips knees and feet..........

Anonymous said...

Yep... they have a (quite malicious) soul of their own. Bastard things. ... keep getting in the way... grumble

lamps who needs em.....tsk!

Mothers apparently

Unknown said...

Of course... everyone does... especilly Italians I've heard. And Romans the most... ever thought why Italians (esp. from Rome) can never play decent soccer anywhere else? They just miss mama's spaghetti...

Unknown said...

indeed I hadn't thought of it like that, but it would explain why i was crap at soccer, my mother specialised in spam sandwiches........

Spam, spam and (glorius) spam...

Unknown said...

wait...i remember stopping a shot on goal with my face......

mustn't have been pure spam after all.

Anonymous said...

We don't have spam here... I wasthus quite good at football... then again I was still in school and only smoking for 3 years... Easy.

Unknown said...

ah yes i remember it now, stale cigarette butts by the bike shed, which pecularily held no bikes........

Anonymous said...
