Blue Dragon Preview and Trailer

The first of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker , the studio founded by Square-Enix's and Final Fantasy fame Hironobu Sakaguchi. Set for release in Japan on December 7th with a 2007 relase planned for the rest of us.

Blue Dragon featuring characters by designer Akira Toriyama (Dragon Quest, Dragon Ball, Chronoquest), tells the story of a young boy named Shu who has special adventure with his two friends and a mythical blue dragon.

The setting is a planet that is abundant with ancient ruins from a past civilization. The main character is a boy named Shu who is only 16 years of age. A few of his friends will be tagging along on his adventures such as Kluke and Jiro. There is drama between the three as Jiro has feelings towards Kluke and feels Shu is his rival trying to earn Kluke’s affection. The rest of the cast is completed by Zora, a 20-year old mercenary who doesn’t place any type of trust in anyone, and Marumaro, who is only 14. Marumaro is from the “Devi tribe” and he expresses himself through his awkward dances.

The History Channel's Civil War The Game

Also known as The Battle of Bull Run. Last quoted as having a November 2006 outing in US, for ps2 and xbox360. Civil War The Game, is a real-time strategy game that was previously released on the PC back in 2003.

The Battle of Bull Run prides itself on minute details and accurate representation of battles. The weapons should represent the true rates of fire, range, and even how often they would successfully fire. The Bull Run battlefield is modeled from historical maps and different terrain affects the stats and bonuses given to each attacking party.

Players take on the role of a commander that has specific traits changing the way they approach the battlefield. The Civil War plays out with thousands of troops, generals, infantry, cavalry, artillery, and supply wagons. Someone might want to think of a catchier title.

God Hand First Look

Set for US release October 10th, already on store shelfs in Japan. Centuries ago, the world was in imminent doom (isn't it always) until a man defeated Angra and sealed away his godly powers into his own arms. People feared and revered this person who would become known as “God Hand”. Legend has it that anyone who acquired such hands would possess immense power that could turn them into a deity or demon. And this is where you come in, assuming the role of Gene as he tries to ward off the demons that seek to obtain the coveted appendage. Although he may have been granted the strength of the almighty, keeping these foes at bay won’t be easy as evil approaches from all directions for the ultimate showdown.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Preview

Set to debut alongside the Wii release on November 19, and specifically designed for the console to take advantage of the wii mote. When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero – and the animal – within. When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows by aiming with the Wii Remote controller, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old.

Link trivia:
Initially supposed to be left-handed in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, like he is in the GameCube version. However, noting that more users will swing the controller with the right hand, Nintendo made Link hold the sword in his right hand just for the Wii version.

Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run

Apt when you consider a score of 52% from 5 reviews on Metacritic.com

Reviews Summary
Unfortunately the execution just wasn't there
More a hastle than a pleasure, control system is weak
Glitches, poor controls, shabby visuals
Playing as the rock is pretty dang fun...(?) but woefully underused
"been there done that" feeling, cheesy bond-like storyline
Gameplay mechanics are basic and repetitive
