Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Reviews

For Pc, ps2, xbox, xbox360, Gamecube, Game boy advance, Nintendo DS, PSP...... phew! there was always the danger this was going to fill valuable shelf space for no apparently good reason. Thankfully this won't be the case, while the PC version got a little slating the console versions faired extremely well

IGN 84% across the console board

The bottom line is that it's a heck of a lot of fun and has a great amount of replay value beyond a single play-through. Best family game this year? Probably so."

1up 80% across the console range
There's definitely a lot of fun to be had with Lego Star Wars II, making it a good choice for those looking for a solid action-platformer; it's an ideal choice for those fans of Star Wars."

Gamespot 77% on average
The gameplay hasn't changed dramatically, but better source material makes Lego Star Wars II a better game than its predecessor."

I'm a little suspect as to how the game managed to get the same score for each format, ergo IGN suggest the ps2 version is every bit as good as the xbox 360 version, but who am i to question the force. Have a look for yourself, surely an identical review for each format suggests a iffy fishy smell, perhaps the issue is more to do with the sites formatting than an apparent one review suits all.

If only the team that created the first LEGO Star Wars game had used the license for the classic movies, that the team behind LEGO Star Wars used, we would have had a brilliant LEGO Star Wars 1 and totally shite 2. Follow me?

Aaaaaahhh yeahhh, no I lost yah..
Wait I gotcha, aahhh yep!

Ive decided I will have to purchase some writing software for The Lost Lair..! Looking at a product called Power Structure..? Anybody know much about writing programs..? Anyhow this one keeps trac of everything from plots, world creations, and character ideas- plus lots of other stuff!! I have to many ideas and characters to keep trac of, so this seems like a good investment for the story.. Well thats whats going on with the story for now... Im focusing on character designs for now and when I get this software I will start the first book.... What do you guys think..?

I was with you gnome till you got to the second lego star wars bit, not lego star wars 2, but the second iteration of the first lego star wars.... very clear till then

Jeez Deitrix that's some state of the art piece of software, the only writing software i'd even heard about up until now was Word....... i've got a lot to learn....... Book? Character development, now your frightening me..... i'll probably have to start showering once a week now....... impressive preparation......
humbled i am..

Why is everyone so hopped up on lego star wars? If i wanted to play that I could just grab my younger brother's lego set and re-enact classic star wars moments.

Phew the scratch 'n sniff embargo is a great relief (calculates the money he's saved himself on his electricity and soap)

lego star wars? it's been nearly 20 years since i've had a lego experience..... and thirty five since I underwent an operation to have one removed from my nasal cavity.... never had a little brother either...sniff!

I hear the 360 version is the same exact thing as the other ones unless you have an HD-TV (which makes it all shiny).

Game looks good nontheless.

see i don't get it, surely a bigger effort (part from HD visuals) should have been made for the "next generation"... after all there charging nearly €30 extra for it....

nalso heard there were issues with Dead Rising text on ordinary tv's, but luckily i sit really close to the screen and haven't noticed an issue.

Oh, and this POwerStructure thingy seems quite interesting and handy for academic stuff too... Nice...
