In what amounted to a call to arms to support the HD-DVD format, the president of Warner Home Video has attacked Sony for the tactics used in it's battle against Microsoft. Claiming that home entertainment companies have been suckered, in the heated competition between Blu-ray and HD-DVD, Describing Sony's Business strategy he said:
"They compete like Samurai. It isn't the way we compete in the West."
