IGN gave it an 8.4- review just came out...
Have you played either one of the demos??
I played the Xbox Mag demo and it had a few tear issues, but nothing that really bothered me..
Well I've read all these reviews and they all gave it pretty good scores, and they dont mention anything about the tearing or framerate issues..? Some said the framerate drops a little, but nothing noticable!
Then I read the forums and reader reviews (Eurogamer had alot).. Just about everyone is complaining about these issues and nobody can understand why the reviewers havent mentioned anything about these problems in the reviews- not even ign said anything about it...

Im just baffled I guess.. I enjoyed the demo and was looking foward to the game, but now I not sure if I will get it or not? Let me know if you play it and what you think?

This game is looking mighty good. Probably the best for the 360 yet...

Have you played either demo?
I think it will still be a great game, but you will have to over look the tearing and framerate drops..

And eurogamer thought this was good. Wow! That's a PCZone equivelant...

(elderly pops in with fresh pots of coffee and tea)

I always hang back, when the game hits the stores before a decent number of reviews have been written. The framerate drop, is going to irk after a while.

I've played the demo, but I'm not a fan of motogp (I can't corner, for some inexplicable reason). I wasn't wowed.

Can't really know, but I have a feeling that you're right...

Mmm... nice coffee & great tea.

As long as its dark coffee... Never miss a morning without it!!

Cornering is tuff, but I feel like its how it would be on the real thing... thats why I like it so much.- along with a nice wreck and taking out 6 bikes!!
I also heard that you might be able to upload your own designs for your bikes and gear!!! Major plus for me if thats possible..?

uploading your own artwork, would indeed be dramatic, especially if you could then bring your custom bike online.

I tend to lean along with the angle on screen, which I think is at the nub of my cornering ability or lack thereof.

Yep, thats the big deal with the custom bikes and gear- is that you can go online with it..

I tend to hit the rear brakes around the corners, which seems to help- but I think with bikes theres a certain way to use both rear and front brakes while cornering to be good..?
Plus Im used to playing Project Gotham 3- that does not help!!

ah maybe that's my problem (pgr, forza), though i still suspect a synaptic irregularity.

So What game are you looking at purchasing next?

only thing in stores I have a hankering for is Forbidden siren 3 for ps2, but where am i going to find the time to play it.

I might rent lotr bfme (360) as I'm not the greatest strategist.

Looking forward to gears of war, enchant arms, prey, lost planet (sigh!)

Dreamfall (xbox) never made it to my town, so i may need to travel or buy online.

Definite are platinum version of .hack and FFxii for ps2.

And yourself?

damn i forgot about splinter cell (takes note)
Dead rising looks good, but I'm having problems with the apparent comedy element.

And oh if I could only write my own review, but fear not I'll post a link to something decent for prey and Enchant.
