From the Anime Series, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Rei Ayanami is the first child and pilot of EVA-00. Described as unemotional, she lives by herself in a spartan apartment in Tokyo-3. The website Lonely Angel is a prime example of a number of websites dedicated to the character. One of the site's features is an extensive wallpaper collection, a sample of which I've displayed above.
