Dave Dorman Fantasy Art

Born Michigan USA in 1958, Mr. Dorman is an Eisner award-winning illustrator who has been working as a professional artist since 1979. He is best known for his photo-realistic renderings of action and fantasy subjects.

Past work includes Batman for DC Comics,Indiana Jones and Star Wars series' for Dark Horse Comics. In addition he has done a wide range of book and magazine covers. Some of these include the Aliens paperback series, the Lone Wolf series, the Surfing Samurai Robots series and many other single book covers. His work is also showcased in the Bram Stoker nominated, illustrated novel Dead Heat from MoJo Press, and a book collection of his art, Star Wars: The Art of Dave Dorman. Dave Dorman also owns his own print company, Rolling Thunder, through which he publishes limited edition lithographs of his artwork.

Hellgate: London randomly created levels, items and events. The player creates a heroic character, completes quests and battles through innumerable hordes of demons to advance through experience levels and branching skill paths. A robust, flexible skill and spell system, highly customizable appearances and a massive variety of randomly generated equipment allow players to create their own unique hero.

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Review (Ps2 vs. Xbox360)

I've been puzzled for a while, why game reviewers generally shun comparing a game across different formats. And now I perhaps have discovered one reason for this apparent oversight.

Eurogamer have conducted an in-depth review of both Ps2 and xbox 360 versions of PES6 and the news is not all that encouraging for Xbox 360 owners. Xbox 360 the next generation console, the console of choice for the next geneation ....cough!..... sports fewer multiplayers, fewer stadiums (8 compared to PS2's 33), no shop options, no replay saves. Rushed release? I didnt' say that!

"With so many features missing, a poor online implementation and a tragic unwillingness to treat this as a next generation project, Konami has taken a hefty gamble with PES6 on the 360."

Notwithstanding that the game received a score of 80%, though you might want to bypass the xbox 360 section in your local game shop. Out in Europe due for release in US January 2007

Rogue Warrior Preview

Based on a novel by Richard Marcinko and set in North Korea (talking about topical) the copy and paste bit happens next from Bethesda game info page.

"Rogue Warrior is a story-driven shooter that provides team-based tactical combat set in massive, contiguous levels using Unreal 3 streaming technology. Central to the game's single and multiplayer experience is the idea of a freeform battlefield, where players are given the freedom to choose how to complete a given objective, allowing for creativity and surprises, rather than heavily scripted events and tightly contained spaces traditionally used in this genre.

An advanced AI system allows NPCs to react and fight realistically, see and hear others, and respond as a team. Rogue Warrior offers a new take on the multiplayer experience, with 10 gameplay modes and a system whereby maps are created using tiles that are selected by each team. Rogue Warrior's tiling system allows users to experience over 200 maps in both day and nighttime settings. In addition, the campaign features solo and on-the-fly cooperative play for up to four players, where anyone can join or leave an existing campaign game at any time without having to go to menus or save progress.

In Rogue Warrior, you play Dick Marcinko, leader of an elite SEAL unit trapped behind enemy lines in North Korea on a covert mission to assess the threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. When war breaks out between North and South Korea, you must try to lead your team back into South Korea while greatly outnumbered and with no support and limited resupply. Your journey will take you through a variety of never-before-seen environments inside of North Korea, including submarine pens, shipbreaker yards, prison camps, and more."

Rogue Warrior the Novel:

Rogue Warrior, by Richard Marcinko, is an account of how he founded two U.S. Navy counter-terrorist units, SEAL Team SIX and Red Cell. Commanding Red Cell, he was directed to use them to test the Navy's anti-terrorist capabilities. During the tests, Red Cell was able to infiltrate supposedly impenetrable, highly secured bases, nuclear submarines, ships and other "secure areas", including the Presidential plane Air Force One. In doing so he claims to have embarrassed several superior officers, whom he accuses of involvement in his subsequent conviction for misappropriation of funds and resources under his command.

Wu Ji The Promise DVD

An orphaned girl, driven by poverty, makes a promise with an enchantress. In return for beauty and the admiration of every man, she will never be with the man she loves. This spell cannot be broken unless the impossible happens: snow falling in spring and the dead coming back to life.

Crysis First Look

Crysis is a new first person shooter being developed by Crytek, the makers of the award-winning Far Cry. Players take the role of Jake Dunn, a United States Delta Force Soldier sent into a mysterious island in the South China Sea to investigate an unidentified flying object that has crash in the area. Crysis is highly anticipated, as it will be one of the first Direct X 10 games. Some of the technology it will utilize include dynamic day/night cycle, fully interactive environments, sunrays and diffuse transmission, real time soft shadows, soft particles, interactive/destructible environments, volumetric clouds, and advanced shader technology.

Set in 2019 after a colossal asteroid crashes to Earth, Crysis begins amidst a tense military standoff between the North Korean and United States governments for control of the impact zone. Amid rising tensions, the asteroid suddenly bursts open revealing a massive alien ship, which begins freezing vast portions of the island and altering the global weather system. The invasion of Earth has begun. Crysis features an epic three-act story of alien invasion where players are able to customize their armor and weapons in real time to confront an ever-changing enemy and a harsh, dynamic environment.

Scheduled for a PC outing in Q1 2007 can a ps3 xbox360 version be far behind?

Family Guy Video Game Review

The new game from Take-Two's 2K Games introduces the Griffins to gamers everywhere. Players take on the role of multiple characters such as Stewie, Brian the Dog, and Peter, the hapless patriarch, as they interact with many of the citizens of Quahog.

three different genres packed into one game, but none of them work well at all. It's repetitive, boring and even frustrating way more often than it should be.

Several stages become quite repetitive, placing you in essentially identical situations, with identical characters, over and over. However there's so much else here that easily makes up for the blemishes. For hardcore fans of the show, especially at the $30 price, it's still pretty freakin' sweet.

Ubisoft, have announced that the Xbox Live Vision Camera can be used in conjunction with the game to put your own face on the character. In just two simple steps, a head-on photo and a profile photo taken with the Vision Camera, gamers can create a custom head that looks exactly like the actual player. Once the custom head is completed, players can move on to customize their online character further by choosing weapons, clothing, camouflage and body armor.

I love how they did the 3rd person view when taking cover (plus it changes into 3rd person when doing other actions as well-grappling and using quick ropes to slide down, ladders n such too). It makes the experience so, so, so much better than playing a regular 1st person shooter... Dont even compare it to PDZ!
Well I could go on about every little tid bit, but Im not.. I will say the IGN editors are saying that this game might be more fun and entertaining than Gears of War.....? HHhhhhhmmm. I will post that article later, will have to find it again!
